Account Manager Job at ChampionX – in Perth WA

Job Overview:
The position offer opportunities to explore new businesses, as well as manage established accounts, with potential for growth in sales and personal development. This position would provide an excellent opportunity to learn all facets of oil and gas production, and how to provide sound technical solutions to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
Continual focus to Safety and Safety Initiatives within the company and customer base.

Markets and promotes the full range of the Company’s products and services to allocated client and is responsible for new business development and expansion of existing services with the allocated account.

Maintains knowledge of day-to-day market developments and accurately assesses opportunities and threats.

Plans and executes the introduction of the Company’s products and services to the allocated account.

Assesses and advises client on a wide range of commercial and technical proposals related to the Company’s products and services.

Leads Operational Excellence efforts within customer allocations to manage business in alignment with corporate direction.

Responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the allocated account by “hands-on” involvement in multi-centered work locations including, but not limited to, field/offshore, laboratory, and office investigations.

Responsible for the overall satisfaction of assigned client.

Reports to the Company any information received from client regarding performance of products and services or on matters affecting the company (both positive and negative).

Coordinates with Company, business partners, contractors, and allocated client to ensure optimal company performance.

Develops operational and financial plans for presentation to the Area/ District Manager.

Responsible for maintaining approved operational and financial plan.

Coordinates with Operations Manager on all matters related to supply chain management.

This includes but is not limited to; warehouse inventory stock take, product and non-product sales forecasting, phase in and phase out plans for all product sales to allocated client

Identify actual and potential non-conformances, rectify in areas of authority and record as required.

Carry out corrective and preventive action as required.

Analyse processes in area of authority where a recurring quality problem may arise.

Control rework of nonconforming product or process in area of authority. · Meets and abides by all company policies, including but not limited to SHEQ policies.

Safety Responsibilities:
Adhere to company Safety policies, procedures and rules and follow safe work practices.

Participate in team consultation meetings to discuss workplace safety in the department ·

Report any hazards as soon as you notice them and participate in risk assessments as requested.

Assist in the identification of control measures to eliminate or minimize the risk of injury.

Attend OHS training as required.

Wear personal protective equipment as required for various tasks and report any worn out or defective equipment.

Participate in OHS activities such as inspections, investigations, OHS meetings as required from time to time.

Ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory and corporate standards.

Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Conduct policy.

Key Qualifications/Skills:
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Science.

8 years oilfield experience (preferably 3-5 years sales experience).

Self-started and motivated team player.

Excellent work ethic.

“Hands on” and demonstrate competence in Total Chemical Management, oil & gas production systems, Phase Separation, Flow assurance, integrity management, water injection, chemical application facilities and utility systems.

Willing to travel in Australia and to offshore locations.
