The Role
Cobham Regional Services is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer with responsibility for the day to day entry of supplier invoices and resolution of supplier queries. This is a full-time position and plays an integral role in the function of the Regional Services Finance Team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
Working with the supplier admin team to ensure supplier master data records are accurate
Liaising with suppliers and responding to enquiries
Reconciling supplier statements
Ad-hoc duties as required, which could include:
Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments
Provide supporting documentation for audit purposes
Assist in end of month processes including reconciliations
Producing monthly accounts payable reports
Experience and Criteria
Essential
Knowledge of the accounts payable process and general accounting procedures
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools required, including intermediate Excel skills
Strong initiative with ability to work collaboratively.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), numerical, and data entry skills.
Ability to embrace learning and development opportunities, adapt to change, and strive for continuous improvement.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
High level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality.
