Accounts Payable Team Leader Job at Uniting AgeWell – in Australia

About the role:
The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process whilst supporting and assisting the wider accounts team.

The role will be responsible for more complex responsibilities than the AP Officer role and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure payments and query resolutions are consistently delivered to a high standard.

The role will also be responsible for developing business relationships with the broader company and for coaching and supporting other members of the team. You will identify areas of opportunities and implement these across the function.

Proven leadership experience, supervisor and team development

Financial systems including ERP and electronic workflow solutions

8+ years in Accounts Payable

Working knowledge of AP principals, practices and regulations

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks

Are willing to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church

You will need:
A current Working With Children’s Check (VIC)

Full Australian working rights

A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process

A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
