What we are looking for
As an Accounts Receivable Officer you will proactively administer; the invoicing and collections for assigned business units and customers as well as ad-hoc customer administration.
Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:
Ensure the timely and accurate issuing of invoices and debt collection in align with the policy
Ensure invoice & credit requests are duly authorised by the appropriate person within all business groups (in accordance with Delegations of Authority)
Liaise with business units in respect to accounts receivable, including invoicing, account queries and overdue accounts
Manage billing, reporting and monthly statements for your assigned business units
Maintain OPERA customer master files for relevant business units
Handle internal and external customer queries relating to accounts receivable
Assist and support all stakeholders continuously to have an understanding of the TSEG Accounts Receivables processes and responsibilities to ensure best group practice
Provide information to internal and external auditors
Identify, recommend, and assist in implementation of Accounts Receivable process improvements
Maintain the reconciliations of the relevant balance sheet accounts to ensure the integrity between the general ledger and the Oracle subsidiary modules
BE YOUR BEST SELF
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous 2-3 years’ working in an Accounts Receivable position
Comprehensive exposure to the AP Module within a “ERP” Finance System such as Oracle, SAP or equivalent and exposure to automated invoice scanning system
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail accompanied with amazing problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines
