Your Role
As the Administration Officer, Finance, you will have responsibility for but not limited to the following:
Administer financial transactions for the school in a timely manner, including procurement, invoicing, accounts receivable and payable; and fee and debt collection, and seek guidance when required.
Undertake a range of administrative tasks including entering data and maintaining financial registers for the effective administration of financial services for the school.
Undertake tasks for the preparation of monthly reconciliations of school Corporate Cards, Bank Reconciliations and monthly Business Activity Statements.
Inform parents about enrolment fees and discuss payment plan options, when appropriate.
Liaise with students and their families to undertake fee and debt collection, under the guidance of the AO5.
Maintain the currency of the school’s budgetary information, update Heads of Department with budget and expenditure information as requested, and participate in regular budget reviews.
Inform and assist staff to comply with correct financial procedures and processes when purchasing resources and services, excursions and fundraising, and advise when GST considerations are applicable.
Undertake preliminary research and analysis, as directed by the AO5, to assist in identifying options for managing the school’s financial resources.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
