The Payroll & Benefits Analyst is responsible for ensuring PJT meets its compliance obligations while delivering pay accurately and on time, in partnership with our payroll agents across EMEA. They will also be responsible for overseeing and administrating various employee benefits, including medical, dental, retirement savings, disability cover and life insurance plans across the EMEA region.

This individual will report to International Payroll and Benefits Manager based in the UK and will manage all payroll processing and benefits administration across the UK, Spain, Germany and Hong Kong; covers approximately 250 employees. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a good foundation in payroll and benefits, wishes to widen his or her knowledge base and skills.


Responsible for payroll data entry in relevant ADP system or local payroll flexi-forms in an accurate and timely manner for all International locations

Responsible for checking monthly payroll changes and data to control reports and following up on irregularities or differences

Coordinate with HR coordinator to ensure Workday payroll reports are received within specified deadlines

Assist in the processing of Equity, Unit Vesting & Distributions

Create, review and obtain sign off on all funding requests to ensure payroll accounts are properly funded for net pay, taxes, and benefits

Prepare the monthly GL files for financial reporting

Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries

Respond to mandatory payroll related government surveys

Support the International Payroll and Benefits Manager with year-end reporting

Review payroll processes and procedures; make changes as needed while ensuring adequate controls are in place and followed; recommend improvements

Document new procedures as a reference point for other members of the payroll team.

Provide third party tax/financial advisors with relevant tax documents on a monthly basis, via secure portals

First point of contact for all payroll related employee queries

Support implementation of any new payrolls and assist on ad hoc projects


Administer all EMEA employee benefit programs including enrolments and terminations for benefits and pension

Manage new employee on-boarding process

Support management during annual open enrolment period. This includes preparation, distribution and communication of materials and processing elected changes with our benefits broker

Monthly administration of Hargreaves Lansdown pension plan including reconciliation of uploads to monthly payroll reports and funding requests

Liaising with International Payroll & Benefits Manager with any employee concerns

Maintenance of Workday Benefits system

Coordination of all ancillary benefits

Support management with benchmarking current benefit provisions to market and assist in required analytical reporting

Answering questions or concerns from employees about their benefits


Coordination with internal corporate teams (HR, Tax and Equity)

Support both the Global Head of Payroll and Benefits with ad hoc projects
