FLSA Status and Hours:This is a Full time, Salaried, Exempt position with great hours:Mon- Friday 40 hours/week. Salary and benefits information will be provided should you be selected for an Interview.

Position Overview:The successful candidate will have relevant experience, with qualifications relevant to accountancy. You will be familiar with double-entry book-keeping, foreign currency transactions, inter-company transactions, consolidation, accounting software packages, confidence in learning new software quickly (including vendors’ websites), and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will need a sense of personal robustness and sound time-management skills. The office follows the flow of the business, where a service request can arise instantly and sometimes require immediate action. At times, the job will feel like the art of “spinning plates”.
Processing the purchase authorization system.
Processing the sales order authorization system.
Raising sales invoices.
Preparing payments for approved invoices in line with agreed payment terms.
Supplier statement reconciliation.
Matching customer payments with invoices.
Aged debt analysis.
Liaising with customers’ finance teams to ensure prompt payment.
Processing credit card statements.
Processing employee expense claims.
Preparing month-end journals.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Updating and maintaining fixed asset registers.
Calculating and preparing of sales/HST/GST tax returns.
Filing periodic government filings.
Liaising with people based overseas for all of the above.
