About this Role:
Unite Us is hiring an Associate Director, FP&A who has a passion for our mission and strong business acumen. The Associate Director, FP&A will work across departmental lines to help foster data driven decision making and improve organizational results. The Associate Director, FP&A will need to be someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate hard to understand financial information into easily digestible content. The role will be part of a small and nimble team that fosters an environment of creativity, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with region leads to guide decision making and provide timely financial feedback
Be responsible for preparation of the annual budget and forecasts (Revenue, Headcount, and Expenses)
Prepare and present monthly budget versus actual reports
Partner with accounting to assist in the monthly close process
Develop and track departmental and region KPIs and provide guidance to steer the execution, as needed
Create financial models, scenario plans, and sensitivity analysis
Perform research and ad hoc analysis, as required
Contribute to the preparation of Quarterly Board Meeting supporting documents
Manage and mentor a team of Financial Analysts
You’re a great fit for this role if:
At least 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or any quantitative fields, MBA / CPA or CMA a plus
Experience with financial modeling and decision framework templates
3 years of experience managing a team of Financial Analysts
M&A experience
Experience in Accounting or FP&A systems migration and automation
Comfortable presenting financial information to Senior Executives
Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to work as part of a cross functional team
Strong business acumen to identify and understand key business drivers
Self-starter that is detail oriented
Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite, Google suite, and FP&A systems & automated tools.
Ability to juggle multiple time sensitive projects at one time
