Staff is looking to hire two (2) Employee Benefits Administrators who will be responsible for Interfacing with Alpha
Staff clients, employees, and other customers by answering and resolving benefit plan related questions and issues in a timely, professional manner, while directly supporting the general benefits operations of the company.
Staff is owned by its management team, giving it the freedom to drive long-term value through a combination of human resources consulting and execution. With a diagnostic approach, we work to identify client-specific needs related to talent management, compliance, technology and insurance. We then deliver to clients an execution roadmap of creative, flexible and tailored solutions that are ready for implementation.
Success is measured by an overall reduction in client’s exposure to employment-related liability, reduction in the client’s cost of labor, enrichment of the client’s employee benefits offerings, and an increase in the impact of employee recruitment, retention and productivity. This role is part of Alpha
Staff’s affiliated insurance agency, Captive Insurance Services (MGA), a sister company to Alpha
Staff. One of the agency’s roles is to serve as broker of record and brokerage firm to Alpha
Staff and its client companies.

The primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Communicate and coordinate plan changes, open enrollment, and acquisition integration of benefit plans for new and existing clients, and to plan participants. Explain complex policy and coverage information in easy to understand terms
Answer, research, and respond to internal and external benefit inquiries. Work with designated carrier representatives to resolve complex benefit issues including but not limited to eligibility discrepancies, claim payments, Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMSCO), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) administration, and benefit plan interpretations
Ensure all benefit related documents are thoroughly reviewed, completed, and processed in a timely manner
Assist with various projects and assignments to continuously improve departmental efficiencies
Conduct audits as necessary and troubleshoot problems, and present solutions for a variety of situations
Reconcile monthly statements for various benefit plans
Subject matter expert for assigned Client Sponsored Plans (CSP) and Master plan(s)
Pre-qualification of prospects for the assigned medical CSP and Master
Prepare benefit and financial illustrations, along with PowerPoint presentations when needed for pre-sale and renewal process
Main point of contact for any 3rd party relationships in the market
Complete knowledge of assigned CSP and Master plan/s for product design and overall questions
Complete knowledge of our Supplemental & Worksite Product offerings
Request Benefits Cost Master and provide to Account Executives or clients for signature
Work closely with the Benefits Implementation team to implement new groups …
