At Leeds Building Society we do, so we are looking for a BI Analyst (Reporting) to join our expanding team to help us to continue to achieve our mission of helping people save money and have the home they want.
Over recent years Leeds Building Society have built an enterprise-wide data warehouse and analytics platform which is providing valuable data and analytics capabilities to all areas of the business. We plan to do even more through 2021 and beyond, so have created multiple roles across many functions to put data and analytics front-and-centre and to continue to contribute towards the Society’s objectives and success. This role is initially home-based but will eventually be spent flexibly between home and our new, modern Head Office in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
As a BI Analyst (Reporting), you will support the gathering, understanding and interpreting of new reporting and analysis requirements, working with stakeholders across the business to create compelling reports, visualisations and dashboards using a variety of technologies and toolsets. You will also support the use of predictive analytics, data discovery, and visual analytical solutions as new strategic capabilities for the society.
You will be a key contact for our SAP BI Platform super user community, supporting the provision of in-house SAP training and technical support under our Analytical Centre of Excellence (ACE) operating model.

Do you have the essential skills and experience for this role?
Knowledge of modern BI reporting technologies desirable
Knowledge of SAP Business Objects desirable
Database and SQL knowledge, strong Excel (incl. Macros/VBA) skills
Ability to analyse and solve problems
High level of interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Recognise importance of customer service
