At Leeds Building Society we do, so we are looking for a BI Test Analyst to join our expanding team to help us to continue to achieve our mission of helping people save money and have the home they want.
Over recent years Leeds Building Society have built an enterprise-wide data warehouse and analytics platform which is providing valuable data and analytics capabilities to all areas of the business. We plan to do even more through 2021 and beyond, so have created multiple roles across many functions to put data and analytics front-and-centre and to continue to contribute towards the Society’s objectives and success. This role is initially home-based but will eventually be spent flexibly between home and our new, modern Head Office in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
As a BI Test Analyst, you will support the BI Delivery & Reporting Lead in defining and implementing the BI Team’s overall approach to testing. You will be responsible for the verification and quality at output of data at all stages of the development lifecycle within the society’s data warehouse by performing end to end testing of BI solutions by designing, creating and executing test cases and test scripts.

Do you have the essential skills and experience for this role?
Demonstrable experience of testing all elements of data warehouses, including ETL, data modelling / presentation and reporting.
An understanding of the fundamentals of testing best practices.
SQL and relational database knowledge.
Experience of using SAP BI applications (BI 4.2, BODS, IDT, HANA) desirable.
Systematic and analytical approach with strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
Good team player, self-motivated, proactive and customer oriented.
