Business Analyst Job at Kennards Hire – in Seven Hills NSW

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Finance Department at Kennards Hire in Seven Hills for a permanent full-time role.

The purpose of this role is to review, assess and develop software requirements including web applications, mobile app, integrations and associated business operational processes. Work with all stakeholders from all business units and related third parties and act as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments and modifications to current practices.

The key role responsibilities include, to:
Define and document business functions and processes

Consult with stakeholders to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access

Act as a liaison between end-users, information technology analysts, vendors, consultants and customers in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of various Kennards Hire systems to ensure optimal performance

Analyse the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensuring the system design fits the needs of the users

Track and fully document changes to functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood procedures

Develop and execute test scenarios to ensure delivered work meets requirements.

Manage user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.

Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes

To be successful, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in business, information technology or related discipline

Experience in a range of business and IT projects

Experience of utilising/decoding customer journey maps to UI and experience with change management (particularly business process change driven by customer journey/tech)

Good grasp of API, and what is required from an API to provide the necessary data for UI/Commerce Platform

Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle

Experience in Business Process Mapping, Documenting Requirements, Test Plan and Scripts

Experience in the development of procedural and training materials

Business analysis and process engineering skills

Effective time management and personal organisational skills

Highly conversant with MS Office, Visio & SharePoint Online
