Business Operations Manager, ABP Job at Facebook in Menlo Park, CA

This team is looking for a Business Operations Manager to join its operations team, reporting to the Head of Operations for Ads & Business Products. This high visibility role will work across the organization, both within ABP and with cross-functional partners to assist with organizational planning and executing its long term business strategy. As a critical part of the team, this role gives you an opportunity to collaborate, help drive strategic initiatives, and form the culture at all levels of the organization. Due to the global nature of the role, travel may be required.

Business Operations Manager, ABP Responsibilities

Collaborate with Head of Operations of ABP, and other key partners, including cross-functional operation leads, human resources, communications, administrative teams, policy, legal, and product, engineering and discipline leadership teams to facilitate support for organizational priorities

Partner with Head of Operations to analyze, brainstorm and develop “big picture” operations strategy

Assess current operational processes, identify, advise on, design, and implement potential improvements

Drive rhythm of business logistics, understand long-term business needs and help facilitate business operations to ensure delivery of highest priorities

Maintain annual strategic calendar of key deliverables for organization

Oversee coordination and preparation for leadership meetings and product reviews, to ensure quality discussion, decision-making and overall accountability

Liaise with cross-functional partners, including sales, legal, policy, finance

Own a diverse slate of special projects that help drive culture and community for ABP

Minimum Qualifications

7 or more years of experience with project management, strategy, management consulting, research, or operations

Experience working directly with management as well as people at all levels, including executive level, either inside and outside of a company

Experience managing multiple tasks under timelines and shifting priorities

Project management and communications (long- and short-form) experience

Experience cultivating internal relationships globally, and driving cross-functional work

Experience developing and driving strategy and execution plans

Experience in gathering and analyzing large amounts of information quickly & developing compelling, insightful recommendations

Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical & creative thinking, and thought leadership

Effective communication skills, including the experience defining and simplifying complex concepts and communicating them back to stakeholders

Track record of being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized and structured manner

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or graduate degree

Experience in technical, product, business, or marketing discipline

Data driven problem solving experience
