Siemens Smart Infrastructure is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager Solutions to join our Regional Solutions and Services business either in Melbourne or Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to apply sales, finance and project management know how to support our solutions organisation in the branches. Core responsibilities of the role will include
Establish robust business administration processes for solution bid reviews and bid approval escalations across multiple portfolio lines and branches to ensure a high quality Limits of Authority process;
Work with the National Solutions Sales Manager and portfolio sales experts to develop business cases and financial value propositions for existing and new solution offerings, leverage government funding programs for customers and enable sustainable growth of RSS solutions business;
Represent the local solutions business with regional head office for multiple portfolio segments during regular operational review meetings;
Participate in project review meetings, perform independent financial project reviews and identify financial risks and opportunities for solutions projects under delivery;
Define best practice financial and administration processes for solutions business execution in Australia and New Zealand and collaborate with Branch Managers, Commercial Branch Managers and Operations Managers during implementation and ongoing monitoring;
Support branches with complex contract negotiations, project claim, variation and dispute negotiations;
Prepare and review financial KPIs in monthly solutions meetings and ensure branches achieve their KPI’s by clearly assigned actions;
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience in contracts or project management and controlling, ideally with experience in resource utilization analysis and reporting
Strong knowledge of calculation methods and SAP ERP systems
Experience in digital applications and data analytics (i.e. SAC, Qlik Sense, Tableau, HANA, etc.)
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field
strong capabilities for strategic thinking, analytics, indirect leadership and a strong customer focus, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
