Your Role and Responsibilities

This job role has responsibility for the design and operations of IBM employee & executive compensation programs within the region. The incumbent will engage in the design of IBM’s regional compensation programs & policies and will have primary responsibility for determining the rules and features of the IBM plans. The role will also involve benchmarking the plans against those of IBM’s competitors. The role also involves active engagement in the operational aspects of IBM’s compensation programs and will have primary responsibility for day to day operational activities such as implementing design changes, resolving individual employee questions or issues, managing stakeholder relationships and support as deep expert in Compensation function. In addition, this job role requires frequent teaming with other IBM functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, employee communications, and financial reporting related to the compensation programs.

Works on special projects and provide advice in technical/operational domain of specialization. Generally controls own work priorities and strong teaming

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong data skills required (i.e., spreadsheet data analysis, working with high volumes of data, strong Excel skills, Powerpoint proficiency).

Ability to organize, analyze, interpret and explain data findings is required
