Credit Control Assistant Job at BDR Group – in Stratford-upon-Avon

BDR Group is an award-winning telecoms and IT company based in Stratford-Upon-Avon and we have an opportunity for a Credit Control Assistant to join the Finance Department.

You will be responsible for building good relationships with customers, ensuring payment terms are adhered to and ensuring that queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

Hours of work: Mon – Fri 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Manage our customers through the entire accounts receivable process

· Ensure debt is paid within the agreed terms within laid down procedures

· Production of customer statements, reminders and final notices

· Responsible for the submission of direct debit files

· Production of all non-billing sales invoices / credit notes across the group

· Reconciliation of intercompany sales

· Successful allocation of all cash received

· Management of customer credit limits

· Building good relationships with customers

· Review of dealer commissions in line with company procedure

Skills & Experience:

· A minimum of 5 years previous accounting experience with at least 2 years in an accounts receivable role

· Debtors collection experience up to legal recovery stage

· Strong communication skills & confident telephone manner

· IT literate with good working knowledge Outlook

· Sage experience desirable but not necessary

· Ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels

· High levels of attention to detail and accuracy

· A flexible, enthusiastic approach to teamwork and the ability to deal with a fast-paced environment
