Credit Controller – Administration Support Job at PFD Food Services – in Melbourne VIC
We are presenting a terrific opportunity for a collections staff member to join our Accounts Receivable team. The main responsibility of this role will be to review the accounts and collections for the State as directed and provide support to reception.
Proactively review accounts for adherence to terms
Follow up all overdue accounts
Monitor customer payment arrangements ensuring compliance.
Accurately allocate payments and reconcile as required
Complete all daily Pinnacle and Collection actions
Note pad all action taken on accounts to reflect accurate status
Release orders and stop supply as required and advise appropriate personnel
Report any breaches or possible issues to AR Team Leader
Refer accounts requiring legal action to AR Team Leader
Ensure collection actions are timely and consistent with PFD Credit Policy and the Privacy Act 1988, Trade Practices Act 1974, and Fair Trading Act 1999
Liaise with branch personnel and Group Head office managers as needed
Other duties as requested by AR Team Leader
Reception relief for tea and meal breaks as well as annual leave periods
Invoicing for monthly rental agreements and other ad hoc requests
Manage and action or onforward emails from the generic Inboxes
Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role
Completion of Year 12 VCE or equivalent
Basic accounting knowledge
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Customer service focus with excellent phone manner
Excellent reconciliation and strong analytical skills
Strong keyboard and computer skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Positive and helpful attitude
Must be results driven and orientated
