Summary:Seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to focus on sophisticated analytics and financial modeling. The individual will be responsible for collecting, modeling, and analyzing revenue data and client economics in order to provide the organization with a holistic view and understanding of the company’s top-line performance. Key responsibilities include reporting and forecasting revenue results, analysis of key client-level performance indicators, fulfilling ad hoc analytics requests, and making thoughtful recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop financial models, reports and dashboards
Build/design sophisticated financial models
Development of recurring financial reporting packages
Develop, Prepare and analyze financial performance through the management of specific Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics)
Conduct detailed research and analysis of revenue variances
Analyze actual results and identify key financial and operating issues to be addressed; quantify actual results versus budget and forecast
Key role in board meeting material preparation
Support, analyze, and assist in the preparation of the company’s annual operating budget including detailed support and analysis of the company’s revenue
Collaborate with Technology, Sales, Implementations, and Accounting to find the efficient tidal reporting capabilities
Assist in the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans, and modeling tools
See opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of recurring financial analysis
Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and implementation of the best reporting practices
Ability to interpret sophisticated pricing models to analyze deal economics, and trends to resolve mine areas of risk and upside
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of financial modeling experience
Finance or Private Equity proven experience
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related degree
Have strong financial/analytical modeling and technical skills, particularly:
Sophisticated Excel skills
PowerPoint and presentation construction/design
Strong proven understanding of data collection, data analysis, and evaluation
Tableau and/or Power BI experience preferred
Investment banking or business evaluation experience preferred
This position can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago.
