Title: Federal Financial Assistance Solicitation Specialist
Company: Booz Allen Hamilton
Location: Washington, DC
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create powerful change. In a complex organization, supporting a federal agency which funds transformational Energy R&D programs, ensuring fair and compliant solicitations for funding opportunities and source selection processes can be a challenge. That’s why we need you, a federal grants solicitation specialist who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern federal financial assistance solicitation and source selection to make sure our program can make the most impact.
As a grants solicitation specialist on our team, you’ll work on ensuring compliance of federal solicitation and source selection processes to help our clients succeed. You’ll work with project managers and researchers to ensure a fair source selection process to achieve our client’s goals.
This is an opportunity for you to provide project management support to a federal energy client for solicitation of research and development programs. Work with a project team to support all aspects of the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) life cycle, including FOA development and maintenance, reviewer recruitment and assignment, preparing written reports and briefs to illustrate the down-selection process, and coordination and support of meetings held within the US. You will work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget. You will interface directly with senior client stakeholders to assist with developing and executing FOA solicitations successfully and assist with the implementation of operational policies and procedures, draft memoranda, and participate in various projects. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
