Finance Administrator Job at Stafforce Recruitment – in Launceston

We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to work Monday to Friday for a temporary assignment with a minimum of 12 weeks.

Role Overview: To provide specific localised Financial Administration support proactively working with the Shared Service Centre and the Commercial Finance Business Partner

Areas of Responsibility

  • Ensure that all Trade & Non-Trade Invoices and Credit Notes are generated in the local site business system on a daily basis, including the completeness of sales related data as a result of EDI resolution, Self-Bill reconciliation and compliance with invoicing purchase order requirements. This will support the full SAP Sales Day Book Reconciliation carried out by the SSC.
  • Generate Non-Standard Invoices and Credit Notes in site business system including recharge invoices for tooling in accordance to customer contractual agreements.
  • Generate Pro-Forma Sales Invoices where necessary
  • Perform monthly non manufactured reconciliation (liaison with sister sites as required) and ensure completeness of invoicing, credit note generation and accurate stock records
  • Update site business system with specific Customer Contract details relating to rebate calculations
  • Provide local site initial support to SSC with regards escalation of Customer Payment Queries if initial resolution process steps fail
  • Raise SRM Purchase Requisitions for specific designated areas of responsibility as identified in the Approval Matrix as well as provide absence cover for other SRM Purchase Requisitions as required
  • Provide point of contact for SSC with regards to initial Supplier Query Resolution when unable to contact specific requisition owner at site
  • Provide local site support to SSC with regards to General Ledger Journal preparation where specific support data is required – including Period End stocktake reports, Impact Reports, local business system sales data, Customer Contract copies, etc.
  • Support the SSC with data provision for monthly financial & non-financial Management Reporting
  • Bank all cheques received locally at site using SSC paying in-book and advise SSC by email with details
  • Prepare daily and adhoc reporting as required for local site use for items not covered by SSC
  • Provide sales reporting data as required for key accounts from source commercial system (CDM) for items not covered by SSC


  • Work closely with Commercial Finance Business Partner and provide administrative assistance where required
  • Ad-hoc exercises / admin cover as and when required


  • Local site Finance compliance in line with SSC Policies & Procedures

Education & Certifications

  • AAT qualified or similar financial qualification

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: £11.79 per hour
