Location

Burgess Hill

Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary

£19,000 to £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Your Role

The role will be responsible for managing customer/supplier account information, the collection and allocation of customer receipts & supplier payments, maintaining customer credit limits, maintaining CRM system and liaising with the Customer Service team on customer related queries. The candidate will be required to build relationships with customer & suppliers through continued communication. Provide reports on credit control & supplier receipts to Financial Controller on adhoc basis.

Finance administration tasks, such as raising invoices or credit notes, applying the correct surcharges where required

Updating the database on all Credit Control actions

Assisting with the preparations of weekly/monthly BACS payment

Chasing up supplier/customer queries to a satisfactory conclusion

Assisting with bank account reconciliations

About You

To join the team, you’ll need:
Knowledge/experience of the logistics industry and/or specific relevant products (desirable)

Strong customer service, especially with handling customer/supplier queries and relationship building

Ability to demonstrate the capability to deal directly with suppliers and clients to resolve queries and raise enquiries (essential)

To be fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including knowledge of look up formulas and pivot tables

Effective communication and relationship building skills, and strong decision making and problem solving abilities
