The Product Finance Director – Small Appliances & First Build, provides comprehensive and strategic financial leadership for the Small Appliances and First Build Microenterprises. This role partners closely with the Microenterprise (ME) Leader and the Operating Teams to ensure alignment with business metrics and financial goals, and works in coordination with the product management, finance, technology, and supply chain organizations to optimize performance and financial deliverables. Key responsibilities include financial closing & reporting, ownership of all planning cycles, strong operations support including ad hoc cost and cash analysis to support operational goals.
What you will Do
Lead & facilitate achievement of Microenterprises’ financial goals, including all elements of product lines’ P&Ls.
Lead financial support for the Microenterprises including strategic planning by site and product platform, working with the operating team to maximize operating margin through New Product Introduction, Cost-Out, and customer distribution.
Provide overall financial analysis and support for product programs, including new product/platform introductions and facility rationalization.
Act as the key finance interface with cross-functional program teams, including individuals from Technology, Program Management, Product Management, Plant Management, Sourcing and other Finance functions.
Provide regular estimates of quarterly financial performance and work with team to develop ideas to hit financial targets.
Provide monthly plant, platform and NPI tracking financial reports.
Develop formal presentations to staff, addressing product line updates, program pitches, Strategy Deployment Reviews and other updates throughout the year.
Provide financial analysis for all product program benefits and spending to achieve financial commitments.
Develop and utilize risk management tools and concepts to ensure flawless execution of programs.
Partner with Microenterprise Leader in business planning activities (Long Term Planning (LTP), Short Range Outlook (SRO) Budget process (SII), etc.) in addition to other projects and initiatives.
Lead overall process to develop key business level forecasts to support SII and Long Term Planning (quarterly forecasts, annual forecasts, and 1-3 year outlook).
Lead all Haier activities associated with product line management reporting for these MEs.
Lead PM operating rhythm and QMI format/structure.
Lead & facilitate Monthly/Quarterly closing for the Air Product Lines – including variance analysis, closing packages, and Headcount reporting.
Financial leadership for key all cross-product NPI analysis
Financial support for all Brands
Conducts analysis of markets and industries of the products and reports out to teams
What you need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
Minimum 10 years finance experience or related work experience.
Polished communicator… able to work effectively with all levels of management and influence effectively.
Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks while consistently delivering results.
Demonstrated ability to engage with the operational team in a collaborative fashion to identify and execute operational improvements.
Demonstrated experience in leadership level communications
Strong quantitative and analytical skills to understand and drive business metrics
Adaptive leader, curious and willing to learn and evolve in a challenging environment, comfortable in a faced paced work environment
Demonstrated leadership skills and high energy level
Strong project management, financial analysis and controllership skills
Deep understanding of key financial metrics & analysis techniques.
