The IT Finance Business Partner reports into the Group Financial Controller and will partner with our global group IT function. Our group head office is based in Windsor, Berkshire, but we are happy to consider remote working. The IT Finance Business Partner will drive financial performance by providing leadership, insight and guidance on financial information, business performance and implementation of strategies. This will be a fast paced and challenging role that will enable you to develop your financial skills and learn more about how our IT function delivers value to our global organisation.
Act as main point of contact for all Finance related topics for the IT leadership team and wider IT function
Own monthly IT financial reporting process in the Group consolidation system STAR (actuals and forecast)
Collect and consolidate entity GL data and collaborate closely with IT leadership team to understand cost drivers and identify cost saving opportunities
Maintain financial reporting packs for the IT leadership team
Own and drive annual IT budget process from start to finish
Own and deliver cost recharging and capitalisation process
Prepare financials for IT steering committee papers
Develop framework to manage IT projects from a financial perspective
Support IT teams in the preparation of capital expenditure requests
Maintain key IT process documents including Schedule of Authorities and definitions of IT costs
Support with ad hoc tasks as required by the IT leadership team or Group Finance
Act as Business partner Finance, including Group Policies
Support internal controls and UK SOX requirements
Professional accounting qualification, preferably ACA
Confident and excellent communication skills both written and oral.
A methodical and organized approach to tasks
Strong intellect with an ability to rapidly identify key issues, to see the big picture and apply the “common sense” test.
Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work with a diverse team in terms of seniority, function, etc.
Able to influence people at all levels of the organisation and secure their buy in and commitment.
