Cox Consulting Network has been retained by a fast-growing company in its search for a Finance Manager. The position is based in Cedar Park, Texas, located just north of Austin, Texas, in one of the fasting growing cities in the US. The position will be hybrid with at least 3 days in the office.
OPPORTUNITY
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading and directing the functions of the Finance Team, including managing the strategic planning and forecasting process, cash forecasting, KPI analysis and modeling. The Finance Manager will report to the CFO. This is a great opportunity to partner with the Leadership Team to ensure the financial and operating goals of the business are being achieved for this growing and profitable company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and manage a team of Analysts to support the growth of the company
Manage the planning and forecasting process, work with departmental owners to review actual results, investing and explaining variances.
Define and lead financial analysis and KPI’s to support Leadership and Department Managers
Establish a framework for ongoing reporting & analysis using NetSuite Planning and Budgeting and/or Tableau
Work with large data sets, structure analyses, communicate key takeaways, including analysis of current and past trends in both financial and non-financial KPI’s of the company and key industry competitors
Recommend, develop and implement policies and programs to guide the organization to improve its competitive position and profitability
Manage the weekly, monthly and quarterly projection process within the company to ensure leaders and owners have strong insight on how the company is performing and expecting to perform
Manage the cash forecasting and working capital models on a daily, quarterly and annual basis
Develop reporting packages and dashboards for financial and business review meetings that provide and summarize key insights, including presentations owners
Ad-hoc business case analysis to support business leadership decisions
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
5+ years of finance and budgeting experience
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and reporting
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Tableau
Financial modeling
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and good organizational skills
Excellent analytical and communication skills
