About the role
Under the direction of an Accountant, you will be playing a support role by undertaking standardised accounts processing in a high volume, continuously improving and maintaining, quality and internal controls in a customer focussed framework.
Responsibilities
Undertake daily, monthly, quarterly and end of year manual and electronic accounts receivable activities for an assigned area of the business.
Assist internal customers in person, by telephone and in writing with processing, system familiarisation, and troubleshooting
Undertake daily, monthly, quarterly and end of year manual and electronic accounts payable activities for an assigned area of the business
Undertake daily, monthly, quarterly and end of year debtor management activities including telephone contact, written contact, and internal reporting
Participate in the telephone system overflow roster, reception relief and in other shared corporate activities.
Skills and Experience
Undergraduate qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Business
2 years’ experience in finance or payroll
Experience in using electronic accounts processing software
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable
