Finance Program Manager II – 60019672 Job at State of South Carolina – 2.8 in Columbia, SC

The South Carolina Department of Administration’s Division of SCEIS is seeking an experienced Finance Program Manager who will work in conjunction with the Finance Team lead coordinating with agencies, contractors, and other SCEIS team members to review/update business processes, develop management reports, resolve reporting issues, resolve operational FI issues, and document polices as appropriate.

Responsibilities for the Finance Program Manager

You will serve as South Carolina’s primary support for all SCEIS SAP general ledger related questions.

You will assist SCEIS end users with day to day functions related to the general ledger.

You will collaborate with the Comptroller General’s Office, State Treasurer’s Office, and other agencies to resolve general ledger transactions.

You will conduct testing of business scenarios to ensure proper system performance and processing of general ledger related documents.

You will provide onsite and online training sessions for SCEIS end users.

Minimum Requirements for the Finance Program Manager:
A bachelor’s degree

3 years of relevant experience in governmental finance and general ledger management.

Additional Requirements for the Finance Program Manager:
Must possess a working knowledge of central state governmental accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Must have sound analytical and organizational skills and be able to work with a diverse group of professionals.
