About This Role
We are looking for an Advisor, ideally with more experience than less but we do have some flexibility with the level. You will be an important part of the financial planning process with our clients and involved in client meetings and other client-facing aspects of the firm. Our planning process is thorough, and we look for others that believe in deep planning work. You need to be the person that is constantly asking questions. Over time, the intent of the role is to manage your own set of clients, either through personal growth or in further support for the Founder so she can continue to build. Additionally, we do some 401(k) business and will look to you to manage plan participants.
Main Client Responsibilities:
Draft & update financial plans for review by main advisor
Perform asset allocation analysis for client onboarding and portfolio reviews & create custom analyses
Prepare presentations & meeting materials
Answer routine client questions and service requests
Phone confidence & comfortable 1 on 1 with clients
Team Responsibilities:
Ability to work closely with the team’s Client Services Specialist to implement strategies and service clients
As the team grows, engage new team members and train on the processes, tools & methodologies used by the team and integrate into culture of the firm
Eagerness to learn our holistic financial planning model
Assist with project implementation
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Series 65 (or Series 66 & 6 within the past 2 years)
CT Life & Health Insurance License
CFP® designation preferred or coursework in progress (ability to obtain designation within 18 months)
2+ years relevant industry experience preferred
This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week with flex time (part in-office and part work from home offered after sufficient training completed). Once hired, you will also be eligible to participate in a number of company-sponsored benefits after satisfying the required probationary period.
