Title: Financial Analyst

Responsible for coordination of project specific tasks including tacking of project documents, budget updates, invoice processing and tracking, monthly reporting and document preparation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Budget update, tracking and reconciliation.
Cost tracking – Contracts, Purchase Orders, Amendments, Change Orders and Scopes of Work.
Cash flows – monthly status and updates.
Invoicing – Company invoice preparation, submitting Vendor invoices and tracking payment of all invoices.
Monthly Reporting – assist with the financial information to be included in the monthly reports.
Accounting – Coordination with Client’s accounting personnel and requirements.
Other duties may be assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. Provides guidance to contractors and design team.
Bachelor’s degree, with business, accounting, finance, engineering, or architecture background preferred. 3-5 years of direct experience in commercial real estate construction and/or development may substitute for a technical degree.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to internal or external constituents.
Requires basic knowledge of financial and real estate terms and principles. Ability to calculate figures and percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
