We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Financial Analyst within our Accountingteam to help support our automotivebusiness. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As a Financial Analyst you will have the opportunity to complete monthly reports, while also provide recommendations for process improvements along the way. The team you will be working with is collaborative, and values team work.
So, what will you be doing as a Financial Analyst?
Manage dual reporting structure between local controller and product line FP&A managers
Planning, analysis, and reporting at branch level to drive optimization and support global product line requirements
Collect data and interpretation of product line P&Ls
Provide insight to the costing team for costing parameters
Support local plants in cost saving initiatives
Drive cost reduction and profit enhancement via analysis
Support both local plant and global FP&A with ad hoc reporting and analysis
Educate and train others on FP&A
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience within manufacturing space
Ability to work with international team
Proficient verbal and written communication
Solid understanding of FP&A and costing methodologies
Extensive experience with S&OP and budgeting/forecasting processes
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and process
