Why This Role is Important:
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst will be mainly responsible for reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis related to PCF’s IT and Admin Expenses.
What You’ll Do:
Role has an emphasis on reporting and variance analysis, as well as consolidation of company performance
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast for Admin and IT
Maintain the monthly scorecards for lines of business managed
Responsible for Customer Support Centre of Excellence periodic consolidation reporting and presentation
Liaison between Finance and Technology to ensure smooth month end close and keep improving overall financial management
Periodic capital forecast submission to corporate
Submission of LCL card program redemption on monthly basis
Monitor trends in performance of business results and assist with forecasting improvements and methodologies to provide insightful analysis
Create detailed and flexible reporting that enables business partners to fully understand key drivers of business results
Communicate and frame forecasts and analysis to aid in decision making by Senior Leadership
Frequent ad-hoc requests, reports and analysis
What You’ll Need:
Post-Secondary Degree in a business related field (Business Administration, Commerce)
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Applications, most notably Excel and PowerPoint
Results oriented – ability to prioritize and consistently deliver on time with high level of accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders and garner consensus
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to be analytical and detail-oriented
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment, both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Previous exposure to the financial services industry a definite asset
Familiarity with Python and SAS a plus
