We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support High Real Estate Group.

This position is responsible for a variety of activities in support of the High Real Estate Group including:

Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting including analysis of variances to budget, prior forecast and strategic plan

Handling ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests

Supporting process improvement initiatives resulting in the improved accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

Managing development/acquisition projects including budgeting, projections, tracking milestones, and preparing loan and equity draws

Assisting in the financial reporting for an entity managed by a third party management company

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Two years or more of business experience, part of which may be waived if employee has an advanced certification (CPA or CMA and/or MBA).

Must have the ability to interact successfully with management and possess advanced knowledge of Excel.

Ability to rapidly learn new technology and systems is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides information (both financial and operational) for SBU and upper management, used in decision making and necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Assists, in coordination with HREG Finance Manager, in developing and preparing management reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to assist the business in maximizing performance.

Supports process improvement initiatives and process mapping activities.

Reviews financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cashflow in compliance with all GAAP and tax laws.

Assist in the preparation, review and presentation of forecasts and annual budgets.

Participates in strategic and operational planning providing consultation, evaluation, analysis, risk assessment, short and long-term financial projections, and coordination.

Assist project managers in developing budget estimates and forecasted costs. Maintain budget and forecast updates in the project tracking system.

Maintain cash flow requirements for projects and advise treasury and legal entity accountants of cash needs for agreed upon future funding.

Prepare and submit all required documentation for loan draws, equity funding request, and governmental funding requests on a timing basis to achieve optimum cash flow.
