Job SummaryDESCRIPTIONThe Amazon Advertising FP&A team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team to establish new and foundational aspects of a newly formed team to drive consistency and analytics across our global sales team. This includes holistic ownership of productivity, country level P&Ls, Benchmarking and cost of service analytics. This role will work closely with Sales, Product finance teams and geographic Sales finance leaders.
This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, outstanding business acumen and strong interpersonal skills to partner with Finance, Sales and Product teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Key job responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities Include
Establish cost of service analytics and validation
Lead productivity reporting and deep dives
Develop standard reporting cadence and metrics for leadership benchmarking
Help establish revenue and cost flash reporting
Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews

This role will help drive standardization of reporting and insights for a global ad sales finance team, including productivity and cost of service.
About The Team
The Ad Sales Finance team supports the global ad sales organization around the world.
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA degree; Post Graduate Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance with a focus on quantitative analysis a plus
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Cognos (or similiar)
Able to work well with cross functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of multiple financial reporting and data mining tools (Cognos, Oracle, SQL, Business Intelligence reporting tool)
