Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of relevant work experience in management and strategy consulting, data analysis, or financial services.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience with SQL.

Effective partnership and influencing skills during daily interactions with senior leaders in Sales, Finance, and Strategy and Operations teams.

Effective problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business acumen and strategic thinking.

Effective communication and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.

Effective financial modeling skills and ability to understand trends in data, build forecasts, develop insights and turn them into strategies with high impact.

Ability to take initiative and work independently in an unstructured, fast-changing environment. Ability to comfortably handle ambiguity and make decisions.

As a member of Google Cloud Finance, you will work with your cross-functional partners who value the impact and influence that Finance brings to the table and who leverage our insights to make the most strategic decisions.

Google’s Technical Infrastructure (TI) Finance team helps Google meet customer demand for its products and compute and networking capacity. We work with the TI business to manage our spend trajectory and allocate resources efficiently in order to maximize the economic benefit to Alphabet. We work closely with the team that builds and operates Google Technical Infrastructure around the world. Our business partners design and implement the infrastructure all Google’s products rely upon to deliver the Google experience to users worldwide.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

Use Google’s big data and creativity to architect metrics, report on the health of business, forecast future performance, and analyze opportunities.

Deliver insights into drivers of growth, costs, user metrics, and market trends. Identify risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.

Lead decision making on resource allocations for products and business investments, identify key market drivers that lead to growth.

Partner with business leadership to establish vision for the business and collaborate with cross-functional teams to pursue growth strategies.
