Description: CRG is seeking a full-time Junior Financial Analyst to support our contract with the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The mission of OSBP is to maximize opportunities for small businesses to contribute to national security by providing combat power for our troops and economic power for our nation. The Junior Financial Analyst will support OSBP in financial and business management practices and business systems management and oversight. This individual will assist the OSBP in financial planning, managing the office’s financial management tool, preparing budget exhibits, budgeting and budget executions for all financial accounts managed by OSBP. Additionally, the Junior Financial Analyst will provide business executive support in linking program objective memorandum (POM) and budget planning with budget execution and control, as well as supporting coordination of cost estimates and cost controls and technical work scope with the appropriate projects and program teams. The Junior Financial Analyst will further support this work through the following tasks:

Access and understand Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) financial systems such as Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and Hyperion to support government financial managers in budget planning and execution activities.

Produce status of funds reports for Senior Executives on a weekly basis.

Prepare budget exhibits on a quarterly basis to track budget execution of current funding and to develop spend plans for future funding.

Draft funding documents such as Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) and coordinate with recipient offices to ensure funding can be received.

Respond to budget and financial inquiries from head agency.

Secret Clearance (or higher) is required for this position.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.

2+ years of related experience, experience supporting similar tasks for DoD programs preferred.

Knowledge of and experience supporting DoD small business programs is preferred.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high visibility environment.

Experience interacting with high-level Military and Civilian leaders.
