Applicant must eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance
Primary task is providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
Conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
Experience interacting with senior Navy military and civilian leadership (GS 14/15, CDR/CAPT)
Excellent oral and written skills
Solid experience with Microsoft Office S/W applications (WORD, PPT, EXCEL, TEAMS)
Experience and Educational Requirements:
7+ years relevant experience in business, finance or accounting
NAVSEA financial tools (STARS, AUTODOC, ERP, PRISMS, etc.)
Multi-year spend plans
Holding PARMs to benchmarks for Commitments, Obligations & Expenditures
Generating Funding Documents
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
VEVRAA Federal Contractor
