Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function, or 1 year of experience with a relevant advanced degree

Preferred qualifications:

Experience at a multinational company, in management consulting, real estate, investment banking, finance, or similar environment

Financial Planning and Analysis, financial modeling, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and/or project management experience with demonstrated process improvement

Drive to self-direct work in an unstructured environment

Ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate effectively to influence executive leadership

Excellent communication and data visualization skills (e.g., Design and build, business performance, and financial dashboards).

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

In this role, you will work with the Real Estate team.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.


Partner with the Real Estate team to evaluate real estate opportunities inclusive of purchases, leases, and construction. Present recommendations to executive level audiences.

Financial management of Operational Expenditure and Capital Expenditure budgets, including purchase order approvals and process improvements.

Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting leveraging Google’s data infrastructure and technical tools (e.g., dashboards, SQL, SAP, etc.).

Independently drive analysis to provide insight and recommendations that inform business decisions.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate and Workplace Services, finance, business operations, accounting, and engineering to deliver strategic projects.
