General Summary:What business need does this position exist to fill? (Maximum of 3 Sentences)
Primarily track, analyze, and report results for company-wide zero based budgeting (ZBB). This role will directly support the Sr. Director of FP&A in providing functional leaders across the organization with the tools necessary to execute and quantify ZBB cost savings initiatives. The ability to drive ad hoc reporting & variance analysis, and creatively leverage systems to generate data, is critical.
§ Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
§ Intermediate Excel, word processing, and database applications skills.
§ Detail-oriented. Must be able to detect errors and identify trends that indicate favorable or unfavorable budget performance.
§Creative ability to access information from different sources and synthesize for analyses and presentations.
§ Interest in developing a thorough understanding of the company and retail industry.
§ Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
§ Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
§ Strong written and oral communication skills.
§Customer-driven, team player committed to developing partnerships and maintaining collaborative working relationships to facilitate the planning, forecasting, and analytical process.
Work Experience and/or Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate financial analysis/budgeting.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
