Job SummaryWe have an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join our RMD Business Operations Finance team (OSQ) as the QMA Finance analyst for the Naval Power and SMD portfolio. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced working environment and supporting a multitude of diverse programs. Required key strengths include: strong communication, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities. The candidate will work closely with the Naval Power/SMD QMA CAM as well as both the Operations and Global Supply Chain Finance teams.

Responsibilities To Anticipate
Responsible for the timely preparation of all Naval Power and SMD programs for QMA including inputs, comparisons, variance analysis and summary level reporting for senior leadership.
Manage all monthly deliverables including Earned Value, LRE and variance commentary.
Lead all baseline efforts for QMA by coordinating closely with the program offices to ensure compliance to targets and alignment to MR challenges.
Mentor new QMA Finance team members by sharing best practices and optimizing processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the implementation of the CAS2 changes for the QMA pools.
Provide ad hoc analysis and respond to all urgent inquiries from Quality Program leads and QMA senior leadership.
Support the functional resource planning process allowing QMA leadership to quickly balance upcoming demand with current staffing levels.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with variance analysis
Prior leadership experience in a fast paced environment that included multiple working organizations including of financial and functional personnel.
Experience with Microsoft Office
Qualifications We Value
2 years in an independent role tasked to develop, update, and status financial and performance analysis
2 years of experience in project execution role.
The confidence and determination to effectively spearhead, present, and participate in large and small meetings
