Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, workforce planning, consulting, or a related function.
Experience working in Corporate FP&A at a fast-paced/high growth technology company.
Experience pushing the boundaries of data and developing novel approaches to shed new light on difficult questions.
Knowledge of advanced analytic techniques and capabilities.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of business drivers and value-creation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain executive presence and perspective in the midst of changing timelines and rapid decision making.
Excellent problem-solving, strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and manage recommended actions.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
Google’s Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team focuses on decisions, projects, and processes that impact the entire business. We provide Google’s senior leadership with the information and insight they need to set and implement strategy, measure performance, and provide a clear view of the future. As the Financial Analyst for Workforce Planning, you’ll be responsible for planning, reporting, and providing insight to Google’s biggest investment – our people. You will help create more robust and scalable processes, and governance to support the growth and allocation of headcount across Google. In this role, you will also own planning and forecasting for headcount, payroll, and stock-based compensation across Google and collaborate with the Central BI/Systems team. You’ll partner with the People Operations organization on hiring, attrition, compensation, location strategy, resource allocation, and predictive analytics. You will become a trusted partner and a key contact for finance leaders and teams across Google to provide insights and process updates.

Align headcount and Payroll key metrics, and develop review/communication process.
Manage headcount/Payroll opex financial planning process in conjunction with timeline from Central Financial Planning and Analysis team.
