Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Duties include reviewing incoming applications and corresponding documents required to approve financial aid, review bank statements, income tax returns, verification of household data, income and/or pay stubs; ability to calculate and determine qualifying standards according to federal poverty guidelines; note and update Artiva system documenting received information, scan all correspondence received into Electronic Data Imaging system; communicate with patients via phone or written correspondence; may also perform duties related to collections of patients accounts such as payment arrangements, review of accounts to process for bad debt, or trying to assist with other programs available to the patient. This position requires working under pressure as part of a supportive team that communicates and works with internal and external customers. As a contact point for customers, it is essential that the position exemplify the Dignity Health Values and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

High School Diploma / GED or higher
1+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems OR 1+ years of experience working in an office setting
Experience with Windows PC Applications and Microsoft Word: create and edit documents and Microsoft Excel: data entry, sorting, creating / modifying spreadsheets
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Bilingual fluency with English and Spanish
Experience in the banking industry
