Title: Financial Crimes Analyst

Job Responsibilities:* This individual will reporting to the Due Diligence Manager, and will be responsible for conducting customer risk due diligence reviews. RESPONSIBLITIES
Review customer risk alerts on a daily basis
Assess each alert for risk posed to the firm and escalate risk according to procedure
Conduct due diligence searches for negative news, sanctions, and politically exposed persons (PEPs)
Fulfill quotas on alert volume
Assist Analysts, Senior Analysts and Management according to business needs
Interact with internal and external partners as needed to research and resolve issues
Track work internally for individual and team operational performance
Qualifications:*
1+ years of financial crimes alert processing/investigations experience
Financial services, banking/brokerage industry experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of anti-money laundering and financial sanctions rules and regulations preferred
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of details and form depending on the audience
Attention to detail and quality assurance
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
