Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Job at RoundGlass – in Bellevue, WA
What you’ll do:
Our ideal candidate has a combination of tactical hands-on experience as well as high-level accountability and the capacity for overall financial stewardship of the family’s personal activities. A self-starter with strong financial modeling, analytics, and communications skills. We are looking for previous experience and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that demands accountability.
Drive the preparation of the annual operating budget. Communicate and achieve alignment with key stakeholders and functions across the family office.
Prepare and analyse budget vs. actual performance for various family office and household entities.
Prepare, analyse and report key financial and operating metrics to the family office principal and executive leadership team. Identify trends, track progress and make recommendations on areas for improvement or additional scrutiny.
Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards and communicate relevant reporting to key constituents.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Scrutinize all spending for accuracy and optimization
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives
Drive the implementation of key financial planning systems.
Drive the preparation of the annual cash budget. Produce monthly cash outlook and present the same to key stakeholders.
Work with relevant stakeholder for any new procurement requests and relevant budget approvals. Help with vendor negotiation and procurement process.
Help with any ad hoc requests or requirements related to financial planning and/or accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance with a minimum of 3 years in an FP&A role.
Significant experience in driving the preparation of the annual operating plan, preparing budgets, forecasts, sensitivity analysis and running financial models.
Advanced proficiency with Excel. Proficiency with Sage Intacct is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The position requires a strong collaborator who can build and maintain cross-functional relationships with the entire family office team and most importantly the family office principal
