Currently searching for aFinancial Reporting Analyst IIinDoral,area.(This role will behybridand office will be moving to theMiramar area by the end of the year.) The Financial Reporting Analyst II is responsible for accurately compiling data and preparing financial reports for use of senior management, the Board, and regulatory agencies. You will provide assistance to the Corporate Tax Manager in the extract of data and compilation of necessary schedules, and the Senior Analysts in the preparation of designated periodic regulatory reports and monthly financial statements and reporting packages for all non-banking subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
Support the compilation of necessary data general ledger and other relevant data for periodic analyses and reporting
Support the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly tax related journal entries
Support the compilation and preparation of other relevant federal and state corporate income tax form
Leverage of monthly account variance analyses for timely and accurate compliance with regulatory reporting instructions.
Compilation of monthly reporting package and self-review of content for accuracy and consistency with consolidated financial statements
Analysis of monthly balance sheet and income statement variances; research and documentation of explanations
Assists in the compilation of relevant financial and non-financial data necessary for developing and keeping current the Parent Company’s Management Discussion &Analyses (MD&A). This includes assistance in the coordination with the work of others within the organization.
Skills & Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (preferably in accounting, taxation, or related field)
Master’s degree or a candidate for a master’s degree in a related field of accounting is highly desirable.
Recent graduates or prospective graduates, in these fields will be considered
3+ years of experience in analyzing Financial Statements in a regulatory environment is highly desired
Previous knowledge with evolving new technologies for data extraction, working with macros, data queries, and working knowledge of other productivity tools is highly desirable
Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products including MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint
Salary: $85K-$95K with bonus eligibility
