Rotex is looking for a Manager, FP&A to join our team in Cincinnati OH. As our Manager, FP&A, Reporting to the CFO, you will work as a business partner to drive results. Our Manager will have direct visibility to Rotex and Hillenbrand’s senior management, as well as significant interaction with leadership across key functional areas. This individual plays a critical role in the budgeting and forecasting process at Rotex Global. The successful incumbent will work to understand the business, inclusive of commercial markets and internal operations, and its financial needs to lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of the budget and forecast. This individual will also be heavily involved in establishing financial guidance for the fiscal year, periodically updating Rotex’s progress against that guidance, including appropriate communication to senior management, and drive process improvements within the function.

What you’ll do:
Produce and maintain models to analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance – historical, present, and future
Identify and analyze trends (market, operational) to provide insights and recommendations to Rotex leadership
Work cross-functionally to create the annual budget and reporting, including in-depth review and analytics of actual performance vs expectations
Drive quarterly forecast process and reporting, including in-depth review and analytics of actual performance vs expectations
Work closely with the Rotex Executive Committee (EC) to formulate the business’s medium to long term financial and strategic plan
Prepare financial information for Rotex EC and Hillenbrand FP&A, including monthly reporting package and KPI data for monthly strategic reviews
Create new reporting and streamline existing reporting processes
Build cross-functional partnerships to help understand key metrics to report on and use to aid the forecast process; drive tie-in of operations and finance
Make recommendations to management regarding cost savings, revenue or profit generating opportunities and other improvement strategies
Participate in lean projects to improve systems and processes
Assist in preparation of business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
Complete ad hoc reports or analysis
Other duties may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a college or university in finance or accounting; Master’s degree in Finance or CFA/CPA designation preferred
Minimum 5 years of business experience in FP&A or relevant analytical experience
Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience serving as a strategic business partner
Attention to detail with a conviction for meeting deadlines required
Understanding of GAAP in a standard cost environment
Strong ERP and financial systems background required (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and OneStream preferred but not required)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization, with the ability to build relationships
Highly assertive and ability to lead from a sense of responsibility, rather than authority required; strong influencing skills
Self-starter and fast learner; able to drive results without active direction required
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, including setting clear performance expectations, appraising performance and teach and coaching for development required
Demonstrated ability to understand lean business principles and apply them in the back-office setting preferred
