About the Role
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and customer focused Mortgage Lending Specialist to join our phone-based Mortgage Lending Team in Qudos Bank’s Head Office. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this role will be responsible providing telephone assistance to members with their personal and home lending enquiries and applications.
This role will be ideal if you thrive in a fast paced and customer focused environment. The key to your success will be to provide service excellence, possess strong administration skills, ability to work in a team and sound understanding of lending products and loan assessing.
Key duties & responsibilities include:
Assist members and prospective members with all home loan and lending enquiries across a number of channels
Prepare applications for submission to the Credit Team for assessment
Document preparation, ordering valuations and completing credit checks as well as funding credits and unsecured overdrafts
Actively cross sell all Qudos Bank Products and Services.
Support the Contact Centre Lending team to achieve Lending Sales, Service and operational outcomes.
Action outbound calls to new and prospective members
Manage and maintain Lending pipeline within SLA’s.
Respond to any Live Chat enquires that come throughout the day
Provide accurate, professional information and guidance to members and non-members on all Qudos Bank products
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 2 years demonstrated end to end mortgage lending experience
A sound understanding of lending and credit principles
Previous sales experience in the financial services sector
Exceptional communication skills and time management abilities
Ability to conduct scenario research using tools such as Google
The successful candidate will also have the ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders based on sound knowledge, superb written and oral communication skills and a customer centric attitude.
