SL Recycling is a privately owned, family company, providing comprehensive metal & waste management services to various sectors through-out South Wales & Bristol. Founded in 2016, SL achieved a growth of 495.5% between 2017-2019 and then went on to turn over £5.5 million in 2020. SL Recycling have aspirational views of future expansion and progression to broaden the firm’s offering while maintaining values.

The role:

• Ensuring the day-to-day operations of Finance run smoothly, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

• Taking responsibility for preparing periodic financial statements.

• Taking responsibility for ensuring that all nominal ledger reconciliations are completed to time and accurately

• Experience with Sage 50 Cloud is essential

• Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as creating, sending and following up on invoices, self-bills and other transactions

• Answers questions and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience within a finance manager role is essential

• Very organised able to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail

• Excellent time management

• Must be proactive and flexible to support the growth of the company

• Enjoy working in a fast – paced environment and possess the ability to prioritise and juggle

• several tasks at any one time

• Must be self-motivated and have the ability for continuous learning and be used to working to strict deadlines.

• Able to work unsupervised and to successfully complete tasks within tight deadlines

The role would be suited to someone who has completed AAT Level 4
