National Key Account Manager Job at Red Bull – in Sydney NSW

This NKAM role is primarily responsible for developing horizontal and vertical listings, in-account brand execution and brand activation outcomes for Red Bull Australia in the established catering segment. The other key responsibility is to win new key account business in the identified priority café/tea/bistro segment. By deploying POS tools, retail promotional programs, category management, customer activations, and commercial win-win proposals the NKAM will win the consumer and therefore, drive above-market volume growth and market share outcomes for Red Bull Australia.

NEW LISTING AND VOLUME SALES DEVELOPMENT

Aggressively develop horizontal/vertical distribution with particular focus on business and industry catering and cafe/tea/bistro segments

Embed Red Bull Editions range

Map and win the second tier Contract Catering segment including mobile food catering

Win horizontal listing in stadiums and arenas

Focus on winning large Café key account groups

IN-ACCOUNT BRAND EXECUTION

Embed Red Bull best in class execution in accounts and retail style outlets

Create mental brand availability and visibility at the point of decision

Gain agreement to place Red Bull Coolers, Digital Posters and Vending Machines in accounts

Place POS with occasions messaging including Red Bull and customer-owned POS materials

Gain support to adopt Red Bull-owned consumer promotions and marketing initiatives

Manage and maximise the effectiveness of agreed customer joint-marketing funds to budgets

CATEGORY LEADERSHIP

Use customer sales data to identify mutual opportunities

Lead Category Management and win in range and planogram reviews

Use market data to drive vertical listing development

Use convenience channel to benchmark energy drink range and share of shelf outcomes

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

Manage Promotional and Trading Terms Trade Spend to agreed investment levels

Manage overall customer profitability to target

Develop and deploy optimised customer promotional programs using category benchmarks

Trading Terms negotiations as required improving profitability and business outcomes

Rolling 6-12 joint-business-plans (JBP’s) prepared and delivered to all customers

Quarterly performance reviews prepared and delivered to all customers

Obtain and manage monthly Sales Data from customers and Distributor Partners where necessary

COLLABORATION

Work closely with On Premise Marketing Partner to drive brand activation outcomes

Engage and influence Distributor Partners who service the Catering segment

Internal customer performance reviews with Finance Partner

New Business internal investment pitching

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:
Demonstrable experience across national key account management

Exposure to the on-premise industry, specifically the catering and tea/cafe/bistro segments highly desired

The ability to develop win-win opportunities through value add and benefit based stories

Experience in influencing customers and negotiating to all levels within a business

A strong presenter, active listener, and results-driven team player

University degree preferred

Travel up to 25%
