The role exists within the Vodafone Networks team to become a highly valued business partner to challenge, support and drive the organisation.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Planning cycles: To deliver effective annual forecasts & long range plans. Ensure that forecast submissions are aligned to the strategy of the business, insights are provided at the necessary level of detail and a proper alignment with all stakeholders is in place.
Month End Control & Reporting: Own the month end reporting cycle for area of responsibility
Reporting: Be responsible for the financial performance for specific are of responsibility – ensuring that reports are fit for purpose for various stakeholders’ requirements.
Process Governance and Business Cases: Support approval boards and processes, bring financial understanding to business decisions by ensuring alternatives are thoroughly evaluated and the optimum decision is taken.
Financial Admin: properly support and business partner with Heads of and their direct reports. PO & headcount approvals. Acting as a consultant in regards to any major question regarding Finance, and facilitating the link with other Financial functions when required
Support Ad-Hoc initiatives and projects as required
Setting up processes and systems to support changes to organisational structures and to drive improvements and efficiencies.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Good communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior executives.
Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Business partnering experience and support of business initiatives
Proven record as a high achiever in a complex organisation
Lives the Vodafone Spirit, ensures balance between the ‘how’ as well as the ‘what’ of achievement
Takes an obvious pride in the team and the organisation, uses every opportunity to promote all positively
Desire to fix and improve existing processes and systems
Experience of SAP / BI desirable.
