Program Manager, Non-Financial Reporting & GRC Functionality Job at Westpac Group – in Sydney NSW
How will I help?
As the Program Manager – Non-Financial Risk Reporting & GRC Functionality, you will play a key role in enhancing Westpac’s Non-Financial Risk Reporting and GRC system functionality across all 3 Lines of Defence.
As part of the Customer Outcomes Risk Excellence (CORE) Program, you will be responsible for improving the management of non-financial Risk by delivering the Non-Financial Risk Reporting & GRC Functionality Workstream (Workstream 9). Due to the breadth of the role, you will be responsible for project management and execution of Workstream 9 including associated deliverables and activities which include but are not limited to:
Developing a deep understanding of the intent and objectives of the CORE program and the components of the transformation agenda as documented in the Integrated Plan and manager, track & report on the development of detailed activities to achieved compliance with the plan.
Ensuring that risks (project and operations) are managed in accordance with frameworks, including governance and escalation frameworks.
Preparing business impact and risk assessments for the proposed change and/or recommended business solution which mitigates the risks with associated costs and benefits.
Management of financials, tracking spend and forecasting.

What do I need?
Proven experience in Program Management is a must gained from within banking would be advantageous, however exposure in the broader financial services and larger complex environments will also be consider.
Experience in having delivered or worked with GRC (Governance, Risk Management and Compliance) systems and Non-Financial Risk Reporting systems.
Strong communication skills are a must, you will act as a key integration point between key stakeholders including Group Risk, the wider CORE Project team, Assurance teams and key business representatives.
AGILE, Waterfall and Project Management tools e.g. MS Project, JIRA proficiency will be an advantage.
You’ll need to be a team player who is driven to deliver whilst demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt and adjust to fast changing project environment, scope and delivery.
