£22,417 – £25,941 per annum. Potential to progress to £28,331 per annum
through sustained exceptional contribution.

Summary:
This post will support the Clinical Trials Research Unit Manager in the financial management of the Clinical Trials Research
Unit (CTRU) by providing in-depth support with the monitoring of all CTRU project finance accounts. You will undertake
your role with extremely high levels of rigour and diligence to ensure the unit holds accurate up to date information to inform
management staff.
You will also work with the CTRU Manager and others to refine and develop financial reporting systems to ensure their
suitability and efficiency. The role involves the regular provision of ad hoc financial information to feed into various external
reports.
You should have a good general level of education, e.g. five GCSE A-C grades, including English and Maths or equivalent
experience. You should also have knowledge of financial procedures, gained through relevant qualifications or relevant work
experience as well as experience of working with a high degree of numeracy and accuracy.
